sMy name is Tom Schlund.  I've been on a series of adventures in life that have taken me from Wisconsin to Nebraska to Montana to Texas to Missouri and now to Iowa.  Along the way I've picked up a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska - Kearney, a masters degree in education from Texas Tech University, experience working in residential life at the University of Missouri, an M.Div from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. I've served as the senior pastor of a large congregation, an admissions officer of a seminary, and now as the Synod Relations and Marketing Director of a nationwide credit union.



I love learning and find many things fascinating including current events, politics, human dynamics, and theology.  I also love teaching and mediating and enjoy bringing people together to better understand each other.  




I haven't fully decided what I want to do with this site, but I think for now you'll find links to and commentary on the things I find interesting.  Maybe you'll find them interesting too.
